When it comes to your events, Messy Bun Bakery is your one stop gourmet shop! We will work with you side by side to insure your perfect event! And did we mention cakes!? Our cakes are not only delicious, they’re beautiful. About The Chef
Gina Velocci is the Pastry Chef and owner of Messy Bun Bakery. She has always had a passion for pastry since she was a child, and followed her dreams by pursuing this career in college. Gina studied at The Culinary Institute of America and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts & Management. After graduating she began working in different restaurants across Northern New Jersey, quickly earning the rank of Pastry Chef at many locations. Some of the more recent restaurants that she has worked at include; The Blue Morel, Tabor Road Tavern/Grato, and Rails Steakhouse, where she made two cakes that were shown on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Her goal in a few years time is to have a store front for all to come enjoy delicious pastries and lunch!
