Messy Bun Bakery Order Agreement

Orders:

Once an Invoice/Quote is sent, we ask for a yes/no response within 3 days to avoid your selected date booking up. Prolonged decision times may not guarantee your order being honored. If more than 3 days have elapsed – please email before sending payment to check if there is still availability.

Payments:

All orders for cakes and other baked goods must be paid in full at the time of ordering.

Orders are not booked or guaranteed until payment is received. Payment must be received or placed in the mail with proof within 2-3 days of receiving the invoice, but no later than 1 week prior to the date.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

If cancelled 7 days or more prior to pick up date, half the deposit will be refunded.

After 7 days there will be no refund. Rescheduling requires a new order and payment. Full Refunds will be made if deemed appropriate.

Changes/Invoice Information:

Please be sure to double check your order form for any mistakes, misspelling, etc. Changes can be made up to 1 week Prior to Pick Up. Otherwise, any other changes may not be guaranteed. Everything must be finalized 1 week prior to pick up. Upon sending any “inspiration” photos, they are still subject to our personal design styles and do our best to present you with beautifully designed baked goods based off our skills.

Pick Ups:

Pick Up times are:

Wednesday to Friday: Any time after 10am.
Saturday and Sunday: 9am to noon.

We no longer offer delivery and are closed Mondays and Tuesdays

Liability Release:

Cakes and other baked goods require special and delicate care. We are not liable for any damages caused once the product has left our possession. Please only handle your cake/ baked goods with great care, keeping on a flat surface, and do not leave in temperatures over 70F for an extended period of time. *Humidity MAY affect products, we are not responsible for weather and conditions out of our control. Please ask us for the best way to care for your items if you are unsure. We are not responsible for issues due to negligence. Also note that our baked goods may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, and gluten. Even if you disclose an allergy, consume at your own discretion.

Baked Good/Cake Care Instructions

 

Cookies and Royal Icing Cookies: Store Out of Sunlight and in 70F room. Do NOT refrigerate.

Cupcakes: Keep Refrigerated – Remove from fridge place at 70F out of direct sunlight for 3 hours before consuming (unless containing whipped cream)

Macarons: Keep Refrigerated, take out of fridge 2 hours or so before. – Can be frozen if needed, allow more time to come to room temperature.

Cake: Keep Refrigerated – Remove from fridge 3-4 Hours before consuming (usually I say take it out at the beginning of the party to display- keep out of direct sunlight in a 70F room.) Best eaten at room temperature.

Baked goods are always best eaten within 2 days of pick up at room temperature.
